Kedy, Sidney Arnold, Jr. 81, of Midlothian, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away on March 24, 2024. He was known above all for his love of family.
Arnold is survived by his wife of 56 years, Margaret; two sons Sean Arnold Kedy (Elizabeth), Philip Austin Kedy (Megan); four grandchildren, Evan, Ryan, Colleen and Declan; sister, Catherine Kedy Hancock; nephew, Stewart Hancock (Ali); niece, Katie Steger Lockridge, her children; Peyton, Carter, Ellie and niece Carter Steger (Debbie).
He is preceded in death by his father, Sydney Arnold Kedy, Sr.; mother, Suzanne Amos Kedy and sister, Emily Kedy Steger.
Arnold earned his BS in math from RPI, now VCU. Following college he worked 31 years in IT for Philip Morris, USA. After retiring, his computer hobby and great handyman skills continued.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. An inturnment will be held in St. Edwards the Confessor Catholic Church memorial garden and Columbarium 2700 Dolfield Drive, North Chesterfield, Va. 23235
