Donald L. Vondriska, Jr. passed away on December 27, 2023, in Midlothian, Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Christine (née Cashin), his three children - Rachael Goodrich (James), David (Megan), and Michael (John) - and his five grandchildren - Katharine, Jacob, Cole, Cooper and Benjamin. He was 71.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Don attended Independence High School, John Carroll University (BSBA), and St. Louis University (MBA). He had a long career as a certified public accountant and, later, as a small business owner. Don was an active part of his community, including serving as a member of the Knights of Columbus in his church and on multiple homeowner association boards, and he was a beloved friend, neighbor, and coworker.
Don would often talk about what was next, and for him that included multiple interests from golf to boating to cooking. He enjoyed a good debate, whether about politics or the news of the day. He was an avid overseas traveler but looked forward most to annual family summer vacations closer to home. He held his family and friends near to his heart.
A funeral mass will be held in his memory at 10:00 AM, on January 6, 2024, at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church in Chesterfield, Virginia.
